    Mission:
Blade by her hip and seals on her wrists, Nemesis paid little mind to the bumpy carriage ride. The horses moved as fast as they could, and the Juror making them move was making them go faster. Eyes painted onto the window, she watched as the smooth, grassy terrain quickly turned to that of hills, rocks, and mountains. Mountains so high they seemed to penetrate the sky itself, reaching up into Aether. "Home..." She spoke, clenching her fist, and ripping her eyes away from the window. Closing them as she crossed her legs.

"Are you alright, Madam?" The Juror asked, "Yes, I am fine. Just a bit of motion sickness." Letting out a sigh, she opened one eye, seeing how the Jurors eyes were back on the road. "Nothing to concern yourself with." Placing her hand to her side, she began to play with the rapiers handle. Rubbing the gold distracted her, taking her mind off of the thoughts of her old home land. Of course, it did not distract her too much. She now remained focused on the task at hand. The sky began to fill with feather like, bleached clouds, various rocky terrains reaching up and grasping hold of it.

"We are here, Madam." The Juror spoke, the carriage coming to a halt. Foot steps could be heard walking up to the carriage door right before the Juror opened the door. "When shall I return, Madam Nemesis?" The man asked her, a neutral, emotionless expression on his face as Aloura stepped out of the vehicle. "I would prefer you stay here, Juror. this shouldn't take too long."

Fallen Angel Feathers Empty Re: Fallen Angel Feathers

The world around seemed, dull. It was an odd image, not by itself, but when put into context with the situation and aura put off by the location, the seemingly quiet, peaceful terrain seemed almost... off putting. "Empty." The goddess spoke, a long, fur coat covering her body, along with the gold and silver rapier beneath it. The terrain was void of life. "Probably due to the current crisis going on in such an area. Most would not dare step foot within it."

Nemesis then began to venture into the terrain. Her blonde strands flying behind her as the winds began to pick up speed. Fallen angels had come into the world of the living, taking nest in the sky mountains, their brains taking nest into god knows what madness. A group of winged creatures said to be Angels had been going around slaughtering who ever steps foot in their territory. No one knew why people where suddenly vanishing in the Sky mountains, that is, before one girl managed to escape and let the outside world know what was going on with in the once mystical mountain range.

"If they truly are angels, their must be a third party corrupting their minds. Fallen or not, meaningless slaughtering is not the word of an Angel. At least, not an Angel which thinks for their self." It was then a small, fragile shadow flew above nemesis's head. Her hand rushing beneath the coat, latching onto the handle of her rapier, her eyes darted towards the sky. the goddess would not be taken by surprise.

Fallen Angel Feathers Empty Re: Fallen Angel Feathers

As a bird flew above the young goddess's head, a puzzled look appeared on her face. "A bird?" she inquired rhetorically to herself, letting go of the grip she had on the blade. The blade still tucked firmly beneath her coat. "All that fuss over a bird." Nemesis spoke, shaking her head, and taking a step forward. It was then the air began to warm. Slightly, barely noticeably. Eyes beginning to open wider, she could see what it was. A white flash appearing before her, she held her breath and lifted her arms, not even close to being prepaired for the impact.

Flying back, she managed to grip her sword, and slam it into the ground, dragging it into the ground to stop her from flying even further. "I suppose I should have taken that bird as a sign" the goddess sighed, watching as an angelic figure touched down Before her. A violet toga flowing through the breeze around them, Auroras hair mimicking the same actions. "I suppose so, Nemesis."

The Angel knew of her, well, of course she had. This did not take Nemesis by surprise, what did take her by surprise was the fact that she, too recognized her opponent. "Leliel" Nemesis spoke, Aurora standing up and holding out her rapier, "It's been awhile my friend, how have you been?" Letting loose a small chuckle, the Angel extended her arm. "You have grown weak, Goddess." The Angel spoke, powerful energy extending from her hand as she latched onto a newly formed Spear. "Killing you shall be easy, and pleasing to the true gods."

Eyes sharpened like daggers, Nemesis extended her blade. "True gods, You say?" Her voice riddled with failed attempts of holding back her anger. "I can assure, I am still a true god." The Angel watched Nemesis, no emotion touching its face as it pointed the spear towards her. "Doubtful." As those words left the divine beings lips, it charged forward. Unimaginable speeds, Nemesis struggled to deflect the attack. Could I really be loosing my edge? The goddess asked herself, watching as yet another fury of attacks flew into her, each one as quick, and elegant, as lightning.

How is she so strong?!? she questioned herself, however, that one thought almost cost her a head. Listening to the sound of a blade whip by her ear, she quickly flipped back, gripping onto the ground and throwing dirt towards the Angel. Swiping it away, the Angel was caught off guard. The blades bashing into one another, that of the Rapier, and the spear, it became evident that both were struggling in the fight.

"You're fighting on par with an Angel, Goddess. Most gods would have killed me within seconds." Air flying from her nostrils like steam from an engine, Auroras grip tightened. her muscled began to tense, and her skin began to shine an assortments of golds and yellows. As she grew in strength, the Angel shrunk in limbs, Nemesis's blade striking through the spear, and the Angels left limb flying into the distance, taking an ear with it as the Angel ducked just in time for the blade to miss her scalp.

"You're right, I can finish you off in seconds," Nemesis spoke, slamming her foot into the Angels gutt, and kicking her back, watching as she flew straight through a near by mountain.

The Angel did not come back. "This is my true form." Nemesis spoke, a smile whipping across her face as she leaped forward, landing just a few meters before the entrance to the newly formed cave in the side of the mountain. The cave formed by Leliels impact. the Angel began to crawl out of the cave, unaware of Nemesis being there until she felt the heel of the goddess's foot against the back of her head. "I am still a Goddess." She spoke, listing to the crunching of bones as the creatures head sunk it. A great flash of light struck the world around them as the body of the angel vanished, leaving nothing behind. " It wasn't only you, Leliel. I know that to be fact."

    "And fact it is, Nemesis."

Turning her head, Aroura watched as two more figures touched down on the ground before her, their wings spread out wide. one much wider then the other. " Aftiel," Nemesis spoke, looking at the creature identical to the one she just had just dealt with. "Who is this?" She questioned. The women was certainly no angel. Wings as black as night, and talons as sharp as blades replacing her feet. "An Angel and a Harpy. What an odd combination." Letting out a faint chuckle, the angel looked at Nemesis, spear already in hand. "I do not know which one you see being a Harpy, Goddess, But I assure you were are both Angels. If I must prove to you such a fact, I shall."

As the Angel charged forward, Nemesis merely sighed. "As most Angels, you are just as malleable as ever." Raising her hand, she watched as the blade came down upon her, barely touching the surface of her skin before her ring was activated. "Byōdō" As the eye of her ring opened, the spear shattered into pieces. The Angel attempted to slow down in confusion, but it was too late, Nemesis was already within breathing distance of Aftiel, making it so much more painful when Nemesis's fist met with Aftiel's face.

As she flew back, Nemesis rushed behind her, slamming her foot into the Angels back, sending her into the ground face first. "I know you are an Angel. I was speaking to the other one," Nemesis spoke, looking over at the Harpy as she cracked her knuckles. "No point in putting on a show for a goddess, now is there?" The creature asked, Aftiel's head twitching as she listened to the goddess. "No, there is not."

The harpy let out a cruel laugh and began to crack her neck. "Such a pity", the harpy spoke. "Tricking the Angels was too easy. I've always admired these mountains as my perfect home, well, almost perfect. It kept being over run by other... creatures..." As a snarl left the Harpies nostrils, Nemesis began to speak. "And my creatures, you mean humans."

"No, not necessarily. Any creature. Humans, wolves, elves, imps, goblins. All wanting to take a piece. And now, a trifling little goddess wants to set up shop." Lifting up a spear of her own, the Harpy let out a sigh. "But I must let you know," She began to speak, black feathers, beginning to shed from her wings, floating in the air around her.

"I am much stronger then any Angel."

A cascade of feathers flew towards Nemesis at lightning speed. Slicing them one by one, Nemesis watched as the Harpy leaped into the air, using her wings to parade around the sky, "Had enough?" The creature spoke, floating in the air above the goddess and the cloud of feathers quickly died down. Not even a drop of sweat looming over her brow, Nemesis raised her blade, "Not even quite you little cu-"

A fury of feathers flew to the ground, surrounding nemesis and down upon her berating down upon her with an unrecognizable strength. "You should have just stayed in your court, Little goddess." As she began to fly back down to the ground, A force charged towards her, slamming its fist into the Harpies chest, and latching onto the creatures wings. Letting out a yelp in pain, the dust around Nemesis began to clear. A strong, glowing orb-like aura was around Nemesis. Something that had blocked the feathers. Looking at the creature gripping her wings, the Harpy slammed the spear into its blood red, furry arms.

The creature then to let out a yelp in pity, and took a step back. "It's alright Gula," Aurora spoke, walking towards the ten foot tall canineish monstrosity. "Now, Feast." The creature charged forward, mouth opened wide and slamming its shark like jaws into the ground, attempting to devour the Harpy, yet missing in the end.

"Give up, your wings are crushed." Nemesis taunted the Harpy, twirling her rapier around and flaunting her health in front of the creature. "You think I need my wings to beat you? No. I need no such thing!" Leaping forward, the creature sent her claws right through Gula, shredding through his cheeks and watching as he fells back, destroyed.

Gula vanished, as did Nemesis's true form. The Harpy let out a laugh, looking at the little girl who stood in the place of the tremendous goddess. "A little girl?" she chuckled. "I surly don't need my wings for you. If your beast was no match for me, well then, I suppose you will pose no threat either." Picking up her spear, the Harpy pointed it towards Nemesis. "Do not let my looks fool you," The girl spoke raising her rapier high and pointing it back at the Harpy. "You however, are to be dealt with."

Both females looked each other in the eye. The sky around them let no wind interfere with the match, as it did not wish to piss either of them off by causing them to slip up in the slightest. "I suppose it all comes down to one clash of blades, a literal clash between Life and Death I suppose." The girl spoke, letting loose a chuckle. "Yes, that is typically how it goes." As both women took a deep breath, Nemesis's eyes found them selves closing, and her ears opening. She focused on nothing but the sounds of her opponent. The harpies crippling wings struggling the move, the creatures twitching of her limbs and tightening of her fingers around the spear. A spear which let loose a faint, and mighty creek.

As she heard the sound of foot steps coming towards her, Her eyes flew open. With a mighty swipe of her Rapier, she watched as the women separated into two.

Two, separate thuds hit the ground, each one going in a different direction around Nemesis. the only part of the Harpy to lay a hand on nemesis was the blood. A slash of red, glistening liquid painted her fur coat, dripping down and hitting the grassy terrain beneath her feet. Turning her head, nemesis watched as the Harpy struggled to comprehend that she was dying. it was not a perfect cut, it did not rest directly down the center. Most of her head remained intact, along with part of her ribs.

"Stronger then an Angel, maybe. Stronger then a god? Certainly not." Letting loose one last lash of her blade, the creatures head was successfully separated from its body. Watching as more blood poured onto the ground, Nemesis turned her head back towards the Angel. the real Angel. "Hello, Aftiel. I am sorry such a crises happened to you. Too much corruption lays in this world." The Angel spoke no words. She merely laid there, listening. Listening to the words of the goddess, and the sounds of her own tears.

Raising her blade, Nemesis began to pray. "Fairwell, my friend." As the blade flew down, it struck the Angels head. Once again, a large glow engulfed the world around her and the creature vanished. Never to be seen again. Turning her head, she took off her jacket. Throwing it over the body of the harpy. "Every time i come here wearing a jacket it ends up getting lost, or ruined."

As Nemesis walked back up to the trolly, she could see the juror standing there, clapping his hands. "Good job," He spoke, opening the door. "You could witness all of that?" Nemesis asked, a bit skeptical. "Why, yes ma'am. I certainly could." nemesis let out a smile and sat in the carriage, merely listening the absence of sound around them. "Shall we stop and fetch you a new coat, madam?" the juror asked, trying to be a bit sympathetic. "No," She responded, reaching up and whipping blood off of Auroras face. "I wish to go straight back to the Nemesia. I need to cleanse."

The Juror said no more. Her manned his station, and with a mighty crack of his whip, the horses charged off, back to the Nemesia where Aurora and Nemesis lived. It was a long, and painful trip. Nemesis tried not to think of the Angels she had murdered. Angels were servants, no, friends to the gods. How could they so easily be manipulated by something as simple, close minded, and fowl as a harpy. Even if she was a strong one, both Angels should have been able to take them.

"I guess for some, being kicked out of your home isn't as easy to come to terms with as it is for others..." Whipping more blood form her face, the carriage came to a stop. Nemesis gave the Juror no time to open the door, for she quickly opened it her self and stepped out. "I'll be in the bath house, I am no to be disturbed. No matter what. Understood, Juror?"
