The Good, The Bad, & The Fallen! Wave Lives Again!

Wave had awoken however he had no clue where he was so he looked around to see if he could gauge his environment and he knew exactly where he was. Wave now was in the Nether the home of all Fallen Gods, which meant Wave's ritual worked he was now a Fallen God. However he had no time to celebrate his victory so he began to open a portal back to Terra so that he could inform Roman and all his children that he was alive. Wave tried to open a portal however it wouldn't work for some reason, when suddenly a older looking man came over to him and said "Try thinking of the darkness more. It usually takes a while for the newbies to put themselves in a darker frame of mind to use Nether energy." Wave looked at the man and nodded as he did exactly as he said and tried to open the portal while thinking darker. After a bit of trying it worked and Wave looked at the man and said "Thanks old wise one." as he walked through the portal and went back to Terra.

Lucky for Wave he managed to open the portal straight outside of Albastion's Castle so he didn't have to do aany far travel. Wave could tell something was different however he couldn't put his finger on it. After a bit of time he began to just think it was nothing but a fluke so he dismissed it and kept walking. After about 20 minutes he reached the castle's entrance and he walked in, however there were no guards as there usually was. Wave thought something might have happened to Roman so he immediately ran towards the throne room. When e got there it was empty no a single guard or Roman in sight, something Wave has never seen before. So instead of searching the castle for Roman, Wave decided to sit on Roman's throne and wait for him to come back from wherever he had gone.

Walking through the halls of his castle, Emperor Roman was slowly making his way to his throne room. The past few weeks has been hectic. He had just recently been informed of Sir Wave's apparent suicide by the young god's Paths. Ever since he had known Sir Wave, to have been suicidal was never something he would described the young god. In fact, Sir Wave appeared to be a strong willed individual and would not give up on his goals.

After informing the young god's death, his Paths informed the young emperor that he was given control over them, Genesis and the young god's Truth Seekers. The amount of responsibility was staggering. He had to make several changes in order to integrate his new responsibilities.

One of the changes was having his assigned military force trained to combat significantly powerful individuals. He had all military personnel to train with Sir Wave's Paths. He made it a military exercise where the military will have to respond quickly and efficiently should Emperor Roman be in danger. It kept the troops on their toes as well.

Emperor Roman let out a tired sigh as he began making his way to his throne room. Everyone else are in the training field with the Paths. He's starting to get fatigued after having to deal with his new responsibilities. He wondered what had pushed Sir Wave over the edge to even commit suicide. He's going to miss the young god. He was quite lively.

Entering his throne room, Emperor Roman was greeted by a site that had actually aggravated the young ruler to the point of near hostility. Someone was sitting on his throne, and it's not Roman. The sight of someone else sitting on the throne, where many great rulers had sat in, made the emperor's day terrible. He has no idea who he is, but he's planning on letting the man before him know that Roman does not approve him in sitting in the throne.

"Forgive me, but I do believe that you are sitting on my throne.", Roman stated with a veil of venom, "I do not believe that you are aware of what a throne is. A throne is a ceremonial chair that is sat upon by rulers.", he continued as his tone is slowly becoming angry, "That throne belongs to the Albastion Empire and unless you are the emperor of said empire, then I would have to ask you to get off.", he stated as it was clear that he was aggravated. "That throne has been used by countless rulers of the Albastion Empire to rest upon and now I see a stranger sitting on it! Who are you and what is your reason for sitting in my throne?!", he demanded from the trespasser. Usually he's quite calm and kind, but he has a fierce devotion of the empire and its history. He held everything within the empire dear to his heart and when something were to be... smudged, he tends to be very critical of others.

Wave looked at Roman when he entered the throne room, in his mind he was happy to see the young man however he couldn't really be happy for some reason. It was almost as if he was stripped of his emotions. After Roman gave Wave a long speech about sitting on his throne it finally hit him that Roman couldn't recgonize him. This made Wave to believe that his ritual did more than just change his composition from that of Aether to Nether, but it also changed his appearance somehow something Wave wasn't too happy with to be honest. He liked his old youthful appearance. Sure people called him young and boy a lot but it was just a small price to pay for youth, but now he had no clue how he looked.

After Roman had stopped talking Wave looked at him and said "Roman its me Wave!" when Wave spoke though he realized that even his voice was different. It sounded far deeper than the one his teenage body had, which led him to believe that he was an adult now. "Oh cool my voice is deeper!" Wave added before getting into the bulk of what he had to say. "But anyway, Roman its me Wave can't you tell by my clothes? Granted they are a little small on me now seeing as im a adult but thats besides the point. Where are my children and my truth seeking balls? I was hoping they would make it back here as I ordered them to before I killed my old vessel."

Wave then looked around the room to see if there was a mirror or any reflective surface of some sort so that he could have a look at the new him. Off in the corner there was a small changing area with a mirror and so Wave rushed over to view himself. What Wave suspected was true he now looked like a new man, a grown man at that. Although he wasn't completely satisfied with his new look, he actually thought it was a good thing to look different. "Also I apologize for sitting on your throne." Wave said as he stared at himself in the mirror for a bit longer, before he turned to look at Roman.

After listening the response of the man before him, Emperor Roman was speechless as he realized who he was talking to. It was none other than Sir Wave of Darkbright! He's alive! But how? His children were told that he had died. So how could that be? Was it some form of magic? Clearly it must have been!

"Are you...? Are you really Sir Wave?", the emperor asked as he was unsure to believe the man before him. "If it is you, than it is great to have you back!", he stated happily as he greeted his old friend. Though, he will never forget the day that Sir Wave have sat in his throne. He'll be sure to give him a hard time for that.

"Your children are at the training ground with the rest of my guards. I'm having them trained to be ready for any strong individuals in the future.", the young ruler explained, "Your Truth Seekers are with me right now.", he stated as he lifted his cape to reveal the orbs underneath. He sent them towards Sir Wave to confirm his identity. "What happened to you, Sir Wave? I was told that you had killed yourself.", he stated as he waited for the gray god's answer.

Wave sighed a bit as he rubbed his chin "Now you see what had happened was my suicide was intentional. This transformation however was not. I killed myself in order to reconstruct my magical mass from aether energy into nether energy, which was very successful seeing as when I woke up I was in the Nether. Thats a pretty gloomy place by the way."

As Wave said this his truth seeking balls came towards him and attached themselves to his back. He looked at them with a look of relief as he had thought the orbs had been destroyed with his old vessel. He then looked to Roman and said "Lets walk and talk I need to see my children." Wave began to walk toward the training ground he saw a suit of black armor and a cloak in a display case. It looked like it was just the right fit for his new body. "Hey can I have this?" he asked Roman and after he would say yes he would take it and carry it in his hands as they walked.

As they got closer to the training grounds Wave looked at Roman as they walked and said "So can you give me a status report on everything that has happened? Also what was done with the creature we found in the sky mountains? Another thing I need you to put a bounty out on someone using your political position. But finally thanks for welcoming me back buddy..."

Emperor Roman let out a sigh of relief. He was glad that Sir Wave was actually alive. He was worried that he was going to be on his own in their goals. The emperor escorted Sir Wave out of the throne room and began making their way to the training grounds. Along the way, they passed a display case of an armor. Sir Wave expressed an interest in the armor and wish to take it with him.

The young emperor thought for a bit as he try to recall the significance of the armor. It's was mainly used for decoration and was bought from a blacksmith from the east. His ancestor enjoyed the design of the armor and wish to have it on display. In other words, the armor is meaningless to the king as it hold no significant value for the history of the empire.

"You may take it if you wish. It is of no importance to me nor to the Albastion Empire's history.", he stated before he began answering the questions of the gray god. "Well, nothing much has changed, other than having Genesis trained with your children to be prepare in the future. The being that you brought back was studied by my best scholars. They have concluded that it is a plant that is close to a human. He released it and it seem to act like a worm and will burrow underground and is capable of understanding human language. We have it locked up in a steel room and had it under observation. I'll make a note about a bounty, but it is fine, friend.", the emperor finished.

The duo soon arrived out at the training grounds where he saw his children beating the Genesis soldiers around. On one hand it wassad that his forces were made of such weak people, but on the other hand he was happy to see how strong his kids were. Although they were really not really his kids Wave loved them as if they were, or at least he used to but ever since he transformed he couldn't feel any emotions at all.

He looked to them and yelled their names to grab their attention "Jayden, Kinala, Suzaku, Xingke come back to me!" After he said that he quickly absorbed the 4 of them into himself so that they would be able to go through his mind and soul to see all that has happened to him. Wave wold then look at Roman and say "Well now that I have all my things I guess there is only one question to ask. If all of my troops are here I can assume something happened to the old castle we were settled in up in LeVain's mountains?"

Wave did like the old location but if something indeed did happen to it he was sure Roman wasn't gonna have all of Genesis stay in his castle seeing as it would draw much negative attention. One reason because Wave was there and his old brothers were sure to be looking for him. And two because he wasn't even sure if there was enough space for all these people plus his family and all the castle's other inhabitants. "So if something has happened to our old place can I assume you have made new arrangements for us?" Wave said as he put his hand n Roman's shoulder.

Emperor Roman nodded at Sir Wave's question as he lead the young god to the other side of the castle. "Ah, yes, while you were gone, I became aware of your other place of residence. I mean no disrespect, but I find it to be... inadequate. The living condition was not up to standards and I believed that your men deserved better.", the young ruler explained as the two appeared before a large double door that leads to the lower levels of the castle.

"Come along, there is something that I would like to show you.", the emperor stated as he lead the gray god underground. After some time have passed, they exited out of a corridor and was presented by a large underground city. "Here we are! Now, I would like to know what you think. I had it all built to housed all of your men to ensure their living condition met the requirements.", he said to the god next to him.

Wave looked at the small city with a bit of amazement and a bit of shock but mostly amzement. He looked to Roman and said "This is more than good enough my friend, thank you for your kindness and generosity." Wave would then begin to slightly look around the city and after about five minutes he would come back to Roman's location and say "Oh I almost forgot the bounty! I need you to go and put a bounty on a man named Maldrean. He has blue face tattoos, and wears a blue mage's cloak. He is pretty hard to miss out in a crowd. Set the dead price at 500,000 gold and if someone can bring him alive we will pay them 800,000 gold." Wave would then demonstrate one of his new powers to fade and merge into the darkness and then reappear behind Roman it what appeared to be a instant. Wave seemed to have accquired a whole new plethora of powers after becoming a fallen god while retaining all of his old powers from being a normal god. He then looked to Roman and said "Also don't call me the gray god anymore... call me The King of Nothingness!"

Emperor Roman was impassive at Sir Wave's ability of teleportation. He was slowly getting use to Sir Wave's dynamic personality after having to deal with him for a while now. "A bounty? I have yet to issued those during my reign. Furthermore, who is this "Maldrean"? I believe that this is the first time I have heard of him. You know that I don't get involved unless I have to. Why exactly should I need to place a bounty on his head?", the emperor asked the "King of Nothingness". "On the subject of "reasons", why exactly did you decided to go by an alias such as the "King of Nothingness"? To some, that seem like a joke. A rather insulting joke.", Roman asked once more to Sir Wave.

Wave looked at Roman and said "No, trust me you will want to get involved. This man Maldrean is another god and he hates the idea of our plan to bring about equality. I would kill him myself however I am far too weak after having my body reconstructed a few hours ago. However im sure some money hungry person out there will gladly deal with him for the right price." Wave then began to rub his chin when Roman asked him about his new title. Wave had actually thought it was a good question, a very good one at that so he decided to answer it in detail. "Now you see my base powers are those of light and dark, yin and yang, or good and evil as most humans call it. These powers together make many things. My old title was what the colors of the two opposing forces made. However now I am deciding to go in a new direction with things, and since light and dark make life the opposite of that is death or nothing. So there you go a complete breakdown.."

The young emperor stared at the fallen god impassively before he spoke once more. "Sometimes I wonder about what's going through your mind, Sir Wave.", he stated before he moved on to the next issue. "Now Sir Wave, I'm sure that you have plenty of reasons to have me put a bounty on the man's head, but I cannot simply do so. I will need a reason to put a bounty on the man. The people will question on my reason for doing so. I'm sure you understand. As king, I need the faith of my people to believe in my judgement.", the young ruler explained. "If you can give me proof that this "Maldrean" is malevolent in nature or have made an unjustified attack on the Albastion Empire, I will put the bounty on his head. However, I could make the bounty if another country would do so. I will use it as an excuse to promote a relationship with them. Other than that, I can't do much for you on the topic of the bounty.", Roman finally concluded to the fallen god.
