Royal Discussions (Private, Roman & Nemesis)

Nemesis sat there. Her blond hair stretched across the back base of her chair, undone from its traditional, pony tail style. The pulling of her hair only gave her a headache, especially right after such festivities. "Capturing criminals is such a tedious task." The goddess sighed, picking up a tea cup, and taking a sip. She got various stares from various people. Each one wondering why such a little girl had such a blade. Giving them a smile, she merely looked straight ahead. She could see why Roman would make her wait. Although she had not awaited an answer before she darted to this tea shop, Nemesis knew he would come. Of course, Nemesis also knew that escorting and processing even just one criminal was a long, tedious task. Let along the number they had just dealt with. 

Brushing a strand of hair behind her head, the young maiden watched the door. Studying the door. She knew exactly what Roman Roman, he had told her many times. Perhaps she should be grateful that he had yet to arrive. Despite all the times the topic of her joining Genesis had been brought up, she still didn't have the slightest idea of her stand point on the matter. "Lets hope he can make a compelling enough argument for me to make up my mind on this subject." She spoke, closing her eyes, crossing her legs, and taking another sip of tea, chin held up high as she gave off the composer of a Queen. No, of a Goddess.

After going through countless number of paperwork, Emperor Roman had finally finished the paperwork that was needed to be done before he could resume his meeting with Lady Aurora. Though, he was quite nervous about the meeting. Lady Aurora was in a hurry and he wondered if she has other arrangements. Then again, he shouldn't keep a lady waiting. Even if the lady is in the form of a prepubescent girl.

Ordering a carriage to take him to the cafe that Lady Aurora had decided on, he quickly arrived at his destination. The cafe was simple in appearance. In fact, he had passed by it numerous times and he never once set foot in it. Then again, there's a first time in everything. Entering the cafe, he easily spotted Lady Aurora sitting at s table by herself. Though, she has her hair down and her blade out for all to see.

Sitting down at the table with Lady Aurora to get this over with, he attempted to resume the conversation they had before they were interrupted by the criminals. "Ah, Lady Aurora, I hope I didn't kept you waiting too long. The paperwork took longer for me to finish. Ah, I shouldn't make excuses for myself, my apologies.", he said to the goddess, but her kept his emotions hidden. "Now, if I recall correctly, you stated that you are willing to negotiate before joining Sir Wave's organization. What exactly do you want? You made it clear that material value means little to you. I don't quite understand. You and Sir Wave have the same goals in a way. If you collaborate with us, we can achieve our goals faster than we can hope. So what exactly is keeping you joining accepting our offer?", he asked the goddess curiously.

He had arrived. The astonishing Emperor coming to this quaint, little tea shop. Who would have ever thought. The man who probably had a list of people who would make him tea at the top of a hat, any hat, and he chose to come here. Giving an innocent , small smile, almost as small an innocent as this tea shop, Nemesis snapped her fingers. A man who had been standing in the corner of the shop, a cup of tea in his hand, walked over to the table, and pulled out the seat for the Emperor. "Thank you, Juror." Aloura smiled. She was truly the perfect aesthetic picture of innocence. No one would ever even guess the torment she could cause. The torment she had cause.

As the Juror tilted his hat, feeling obliged to both accept the compliment and pull out the chair of the Goddess's guest, he stepped behind Nemesis's chair, and stood there. Watching both the goddess and her companion. "I'm well aware of what I said. However, there is nothing truly standing in my way of joining. There is no greater motive or ulterior motive hindering my path of accepting your offer. The only thing is, I have yet to hear a valid argument for why I should join. Even you admit that me and Wave share various, although similar views on this issue. I merely just want you to put more on the table then just me helping you achieve goals which, for all I know, might differ from mine."

Emperor Roman pondered at the words that were said by Lady Aurora. Now that he had think about it, she had made a valid point. There is really no reason why she should join Genesis. He'll need to find a way to get her to consider the proposition. "Hmm, you made a valid point. I suppose there is no reason why you should join Sir Wave's organization. However, I can not simply give up on my offer.", he said before he continued, "You have made a point that you desire to enforce justice and order. I believe that you referred to my appointed judges ''corrupted" some time before we confronted those escaped convicts. You've proven that you have the interest of the innocents at heart and I am willing to use my authority to have you consider my offer. Tell me, how do you feel about being appointed as the Chief Justice of the Albastion Empire?", he asked the goddess. "If you are willing to take the position, you will be the head of the judicial branch in the empire. You will continue to perform your duties as a judge and will gain the support of the people should they agree with your opinions. I will also support you to the best of my ability. In short, you will continue your original duties unhindered and will be supported by the empire.", he finished. "Is that enough to have you consider my offer, Lady Aurora?", he asked the goddess.

Aurora looked at the man, her composure undisturbed. Glancing over at the man, she leaned back slightly in her chair, one arm on the arm rest, and the other on the table, fingers tapping away as she thought. "So, this is an interesting proposition you have made. For this proposition informs me that you are assuming that me and you have similar views on this oh so complicated subject of Justice." Looking at the Emperor, smile like a child and eyes like those of a murderers dagger, she watched and waited for Romans response. "You view people in a very positive light, don't you Sir Flames?" Nemesis inquired, curious beyond doubt of the mans response. "I can tell allot about someone just based off of their view points. You do view people in a positive light. Believe the best in people. I, however, know the truth about people. Majority of them are corrupt, and as for the rest, they are slowly being infected just the same."

Smile still tattooed onto her face, her glaring eyes began to appear as if they were peering into the very soul of the Emperor. She could tell that what she spoke of as true. "However, I shall try and look at it from your point of view as I sit tall in that judges chair." Extending her hand, she placed it palm down in the center of the table. "I will advise over my jurisdiction over the Justice system, and help you and Wave with this inevitable "genesis" debacle." A conniving look attached to her face, she lifted her hand, reaching forward for a handshake. "Do we have a deal, Emperor?"

Looking down at the extending hand, Emperor Roman thought about the decision he should make. He had made an effort in persuading Lady Aurora into joining Genesis. However, now he was having second thoughts. He had the impression that the goddess before him has malicious intent. If he assume her viewpoint correctly, Lady Aurora may have genocidal thoughts. If she believes that everyone is destined to be corrupted and be killed by her hands, then she is not to be trusted.

He continue to ponder as his decisions may affect thousands, if not millions of people in Terra. Lady Aurora's skills and abilities are useful, but she may turn against Sir Wave and the emperor. Should he risk it for the sake of peace? Yes, he must. If Lady Aurora should turn against the emperor, Sir Wave may be able to keep her in check. Though, Roman pray that it would never come to it.

Extending his own hand, he accepted the handshake. "We have a deal, Lady Aurora.", he answered her, "I'll notify the council and have the request forms for your new position as soon as possible. You are now a citizen of the Albastion Empire. I hope that we may change the world for the better.", he said as he got up and began making his way to his carriage before leaving the tea house.
