Power, Love, and Blood

Wave was down and out for the count after being struct by lightning. All he did was look up at the sky as he laid on the ground and thought to himself "Is this how it all ends? Killed by a mere human with a parasite. No this isn't how I will end I refuse to go down like this!" Wave got back on his feet struggling to do so and after a few seconds he finally made it up on his feet. He watched on as Dante fought with Nemesis and he wanted to help however he couldn't really do much in his current state. However Wave looked over to see his sword! He quickly grabbed the sword and activated it , thus making his sword disappear and replaced it with armor.

After his armor cladded him, he then snapped his fingers and a trail of energy came from his body and landed on the ground thus forming Jayden. When summoned Jayden looked at Wave and said "Whats the plan master Wave?" Wave simply looked at Jayden and said "Aerial Drip Drop". Without saying any word Jayden nodded, as Wave began to fly and picked him up. After the two had took flight with went to a altitude of about 40 meters. Once they did so they would fly over to where the battle was taking place and with no hesitation, Wave dropped Jayden out of the sky right on top of where Dante was.

During his fall Jayden began to form the strings of his cross tail into the shape of a sword. As he fell down he aimed the sword downward , so that when he landed he would impale Dante's chest cavity. A few seconds later all you would hear is the sound of metal hitting bone, and the sound of blood squirting from a body. Jayden was kneeling on top of Dante with his sword in his chest, and a plain dull emtionless look on his face. "You threatened my father's life so for that I must now end yours. I now wish you a happy beginning in the afterlife, a happy genesis." Jayden then looked over to Nemesis as he manipulated the strings in the sword to move around in his chest and entangle his heart. After the strings were in place he would make the strings crush his heart thus ending the man's life. Wave would then come down from the air and say "Good job my eldest son, now go rest." as he absorbed Jayden back into his being.

Roman was relieved that Lady Aurora had returned to the group to assist in the battle with the Slave Trader Leader. Not to mention that her arrival time was convenient. He had just sent one of his birds at the criminal and exploded once it was in ranged. It did little other than annoying the leader since he did managed to survive a n explosion that was a thousand time more destructive than the young emperor's constructs.

However, he was overcomed by dread when he watch as the criminal blocked a kick from the sadistic goddess. Roman was sure that the sadist was more than capable of breaking a few bones if she resorts to physical violence. The criminal must be more stronger than he appears. Lady Aurora later resorts to using an ability that altered her appearance that may or may not increased her physical abilities.

Then in an instant, it appears that Lady Aurora's new form was not needed when Sir Jayden was sent in and supposedly killed the criminal scum. The battle was confusing to follow as it may have been taken longer than it should have been. However, Roman recalled the large explosion from before. If the criminal managed to survive that explosion, there's no guarantees that their enemy will stay down for long.

Roman also noticed that his "crafting phase" of his Flame Construction ability is about to end and he may need some more ammunition to deal with the criminal. He created 5 large centipedes constructs and 8 more large birds, which leaves him a total of 12 at the moment. With that, he can no longer produce any more constructs from his Flame Construction ability until some time had passed. For now, these will have to do.

"Sir Wave! Be wary of our adversary! He survived from that large explosion from before! Do not be surprised if he still managed to survive!", the young emperor called out as he sent 2 of his centipedes to check the body of the criminal. He needs to ensure that the criminal is dead. It'll be problematic if he caught them by surprise.

Unfortunately, his answer was given to him after finishing his statement. Dante Revel's hand shot up and grabbed Jayden by the throat. The "man" was laughing maniacally as he stood up before tossing Jayden to the side. "Fools! My heart was of no use to me years ago! The parasites in my body are more than enough to keep me alive for eternity!", the parasitic host stated.

The centipedes that Roman had sent lunged at Dante and wrapped around him in an attempt to restrain him. "Hahahaha! You think you can hold me down with these?!", he demanded. "Hmm, you're right.", Roman admitted before he snapped his fingers. The centipedes exploded and at point blank range. Dante only let out a grunt of discomfort as he received first degree burns. "Is that all you got?!", he asked arrogantly.

"Sir Wave, Lady Aurora! Do any of you know how to defeat this abomination?!", the young emperor inquired the gods.

Nemesis eyed the man. She ignored his boisterous voice and in contempt personality. This man was truly one who was so far eaten away by corruption that he could not be saves. "I am sorry, you are so tainted by sin that I can not save you. No force on this earth could." The man looked up at her, brow raised and a smile on his face. "Saving is for those who Shall die in the end." Letting out a laugh, he charged forward, slamming his fist into Nemesis gut, she did not budge. "Did you think this growth spurt was merely to change my aesthetics?" She inquired the man, raising her leg, and slamming it into his gut. He flew back, a bit in awe as Aurora charged towards him. "Such parasites can not defeat a god," She spoke, slamming her ruby covered fist into his chest, and body slamming him into a pile of near by rocks. 

Dust and debris filled the area, coating all site from nemesis. "Stupid girl," She could hear the man say, stuggling through coughing fits. It was then something grabbed her leg. Looking down, she watched as the world around her moved, no, she moves. Being thrown out of the dust cloud, she slammed her feet into the ground, watching as the man leaped out. "Wretched God of harlotry none the less!" Slamming his fist down upon her, she quickly blocked, but leaving her stomach wide open, she didn't account from the mans other hand. 

An orb of electricity struck her gut, causing her to fly back, and land on her gut. Electricity pulsed through her body, each nerve sending waves of pain to her brain as she attempted to stand. "Well then," She spoke, getting back on her feet, yet barely standing. "I see you make for a worthy adversary," Ignoring Romans question, she charged back towards the enemy. Slamming her fist towards him, the man grabbed it, and threw her back as if she were a doll. Landing on the ground, right next to Roman, she stood there, croutched down. One arm on the ground, the other on her gut. Her long, greenish blond hair fell to the ground as her glowing, spotted skin moved around her. "I suppose we might need a plan," She spoke, looking up at Wave.

Wave watched as the man threw Jayden and he quickly dived down to grab him. Wave grabbed Jayden and said "Jayden are you ok?" Jayden looked at him and nodded his head and quickly stood up. The two then went back up into the air to scope out the situation. The two simply watched as Nemesis was brutally beaten by the man but what could they do? It was proven that he is far too powerful to be killed by normal human means such as crushing the heart. So nothing could be done until they watched further. Wave finally saw an opening,one that could prove to be fatal to the man.

The parasites that powered his body fed off of magic, meaning that magical attacks wouldnt work on him. Also any damage done to his body has to kill him instantly otherwise the parasites would get enough time to heal him. Wave then dropped Jayden next to Roman and Nemesis. He had to Jayden to give them the information and summon the other paths to aid in the final assault. Jayden looked to Roman and said "Sir Roman, Master Wave said that we must either bisect this man down the middle or cut off his head in order to defeat him. Also magical attacks won't hurt, so im the one here who will most likely defeat him due to me only using physical attacks."

Meanwhile Wave was going around the battlefield in a clockwise formation summoning his other 3 paths in key positions around the man. Once they were all in position Wave would also get into position. It was like a well oiled machine had just started operation as Wave and his four paths began to dash towards the head slaver. First Suzaku would teleport behind the man and put him in a head lock. Then Wave flew and grabbed the man's left arm. Followed by Xingke grabbing the man's left arm, and Kinala grabbing his legs. Jayden was given a chance at a wide open attack.

Jayden took his sword of threads and jammed it into the man's throat and entangled its strings around the vocal chords to crush them. Next he took a large step back placing him about 7 feet from the man. He then created a large amount of air pressure and blasted it at the man's neck and all that could be heard was a cracking sond which was most like the man's neck coming off of his shoulders. On the ground laid the man's head and just to be sure that he couldn't be healed, Wave absorbed his head into one of his truth seeking balls. So it would appear that the battle was over only thing left to do was find and free the slaves.

The young ruler listened to Jayden's explanation, before the War Path ran off to join his brethrens. If what Sir Wave think is true, than Roman is of no use in this battle. All of his attacks derives greatly on magic, though his constructs may have some use, since they rely on explosions.

Emperor Roman watched in silence as Sir Wave and his Paths fought against the head slaver by themselves. At first, he was skeptical of them being able to defeat the abomination, but he was soon proven wrong when the young god and his creations decapitated the head slaver. It would appear that all they needed was to give Jayden an opening in order to defeat the head slaver.

Roman wanted to let out a victorious shout, but he was forced to hold that in when he noticed something. The headless head slaver's body was twitching like it was still alive. He was never well educated in the medical field so he does not know if the twitching was a natural response. The answer came to him when the walking corpse threw off Sir Wave, Sir Xingke, and Sir Suzaku. The corpse even kick away Kinala to finally put distance between itself and its enemies. All of them are now next to Lady Aurora and Sir Roman.

The walking corpse jumps back to put some more distance between the combatants before it began twitching once more. The stump on its neck convulsed severely before a grotesque substitution replaced the missing head. The new "head" resembles greatly of that of a leech. It was red, round and slimey with blood. It had no hair whatsoever, no eyes to be visible and a large mouth that is wider than its head. It let out a screech of anger towards its enemies.

"I think I'm going to be ill.", Emperor Roman stated before he bent over and vomited out the breakfast he had this morning.

The abomination focused its attention at Roman when the young ruler vomited out his stomach contents. It would seem to have traits of every parasite known to man. It must have some instinct of a tapeworm to find some value within the stomach content. The parasite let out a eerie screech before spitting out several leeches out of its mouth. The leeches appears to have developed wings and were flying towards the gods, creations and human.

In response, Roman decided that now is a good time to use his newest item that he had just recently acquired. Rolling up his sleeve, he revealed a golden gauntlet that has numerous runes engraved into it. He held the gauntlet high before he activates its ability.

A large barrier was constructed from the gauntlet that surrounded the group as the leeches reached them, but hit the barrier instead. The barrier was made out of several crimson red hexagonal shields that gives the user an absolute defense. Should a shield be destroyed, another will be created to take its place. This will give the group enough time to think up a new strategy.

"How exactly will we deal with that abomination?", he asked the group as he watch the leeched fruitlessly attempt to enter the barrier. "It would appears that as long the parasite is alive, it'll attack us endlessly. Though, I suppose we could wait until the parasite runs out of nutrients to sustain itself. With the host dead, it'll give up and look for a new host to live in. We need to stop it before it do so.", the emperor stated as he maintain the barrier. "I cannot attack with the barrier active. You all, on the other hand, are more than capable of doing so. My constructs shall aide you, should you need any form assistance.", he added as he wait for the group to find a new plan of action.

Shaking her head, Aloura let out a subtle sigh. "So the parasites are priority A?" She asked, looking over at Wave as she cracked her knuckles. "Wave," She spoke, a smile on her face as she watched the newly formed head stair at the group of fallen gods. "Cut him open. We shall deal with things from there," Croutching down, she watched as the man swayed back and forth. He was obviously still trying to recover, having your head grow back must be exhausting. 

He was in such a ditz due to this, that he barely even realized Aurora's foot until it was too late. Slamming into his gut, she watched as blood flew from the abominations lips as he flew back, crashing into a pile of rocks. "Lets play," She spoke, slamming her fist into the mans gut, tenderizing the flesh as she prepared to strike once more. An open palm raised, her fingers formed like daggers, and her eyes formed like malice killers. "I prey they take mercy on your soul, foul fool." Plunging her palm into the chest, she ripped out the mans entrails. She then stood there, waiting. Her glowing skin shinning a bit of light as she watched the horrid site of the parasites wrapping around the area she had cut into, beginning to quickly reconstruct the area.

"tsk tsk," reaching, she grabbed one of the parasites, and clapped her hands, crushing it. Reaching in for another, she watched as something attacked her! Launching from the body, a large creature wrapped around her body, and threw her back Eyes wide, her old body returned along with her attire, the red dress and coat. Looking up, she watched as she was lifted up, and then thrown back into the ground. This happened repeatedly. She wanted to scream for help but a combination of her own pride, and the parasite wrapped around her, crushing her lugs, prevented such a thing. It was then an idea formed in her head.

Looking at the body, the body being reconstructed, she smiled. Nemesis hit the ground, along with most of the parasite. Squirming and dying as it was separated from the core. She then looked up, snapping her fingers. The orb of light she had created around the slave traders leader sliced right through the parasite, and was now dissipating to that wave could do his work. "I don't know how many parasites are there, but two of them are dealt with."

Wave watched as Nemesis killed 2 of the parasites. Wave knew that there had to be at least 10 for the man to be absorbing magic at the caliber that Wave was dishing out, so with that he thought it would be far easier to do this with less people and less magic all together. Wave dismissed his paths as they slowly but surely disappeared into thin air all except Xingke he stay behind. Wave quickly went around the battlefield and gathered all the dead slave trader corpses he could, and by the time he was done he had 20 of them. Xingke's magical powers were that of Telekinesis and Telepathy, so WWave thought that Xingke could transfer his mind into the corpses and put the parasites into them and quickly transfer out of the body. This would leave the parasites unable to do anything and would quickly die out due to these bodies all being burned to a crisp due to Wave's earlier explosion.

So began the long and tedious process of Xingke transferring his mind into one of the corpses to give it life once again. Once this was done Wave rushed over to the creature and held him down, using every bit of strength he had. "Now Xingke do it!" Xingke then began to rip parasite after parasite out of the body and put it nto the corpse. After he put it into the corspe he would get it away from the rest of the parasites and return to his original body. After that he would repeat the process but with great haste. Thirteen bodies later Xingke had finished and Wave was probably just about completely worn out. The parasites now in dead bodies attempted to revive the corpses however there was no nutrients for them to feed off of so they also died after a few minutes.

The battle was finally over and everyone was sure to be worn out. Wave absorbed Xingke and said "Nice job for a new guy!" with a cheeky grin and thumbs up. As Xingke disappeared he laughed and said "It was my pleasure father." Wave was breathing pretty heavy and looked to Roman and said "Well you two have fun finding those slaves, imma go take a rest." Wave suddenly was absorbed into one of his truth seeking balls. The balls then began to move as if they had a mind of their own and began to follow Roman just as they did Wave. It almost appeared as though they now listened to him, however suddenly Roman and only him would be able to hear Wave's voice "I'll be in here if yall need me. Oh and you can use the ball's 2 abilities or is it 3 oh I forget whatever."

Roman let out a tired sigh. The battle has finally concluded. After countless attempts, the head slaver is finally down for good. All of the parasites are dead and won't be inhabiting any more people to terrorize others ever again. Removing the barrier he'd constructed, the young emperor nodded at Sir Wave's words and decided to finally focus on looking for the slaves. He was thinking that looking for the slaves while the battle was in progress may have been a better choice, but he wasn't thinking clearly at the time.

"Very well, Sir Wave, I suppose you do deserve to rest.", Roman commented before he began walking over to the mountains. If he recall correctly, the slaver that Lady Aurora'd captured stated that the slaves were being kept within the mountains. It might take some time to find the slaves. "Come along, Lady Aurora, we must find the captives before the day ends.", Roman said to the sadist, "Not only that, I need to have some paperwork done in order to help the captives return to their home or help situate them within the Albastion Empire. The gods only know what they have been through.", he added as he trek through the mountains.

After some time has passed while trekking through the mountains, the group came acrossed a few caves within the mountains. However, before they could enter the caves, three slavers exited while brandishing several weapons. These slavers must have been in charged of keeping the slaves in check and making sure they're alive before selling them.

"Well, what do we have here? New slaves to be sold?", asked a slaver. From their attitudes, the slavers were not aware what had transpired at their camp. At the moment, the caves that the group had found are the few places where the slaves are being kept. A god would have no trouble dealing with small fries like these.

Roman turn to Lady Aurora, "I'll handle them.", he stated as he sends three of his bird constructs at the slavers. The slavers were caught off guard by the emperor's actions and were caught in an explosion. The slavers collapsed as they were covered in first degree burns and were in pain when they moved their body. The young emperor sent an orb towards the slavers and have it engulfed them within it. "I hope you don't mind, Sir Wave, but I'm going to have them put on trial and I need to be sure they won't escape.", he stated before entering one of the caves.

Nemesis was already out. She could tell that Wave could handle this. Charging she paid no attention to the slavers running past her. She eliminated them with ease. Nemesis said nothing. She spoke no words, no prayers. She simply didn't care about what happened to these men anymore. The world around her had finally become clear. Some people where beyond saving. 

Shaking her head, the blond strands of thread-like hair rustled around as blood spilt onto the ground. Body after body hit the ground with a thud as men kept charging at her. Her hands where the only things Nemesis needed. "Foul creatures." She spoke, her voice as elegant as possible as she saw birds, much like the bird from before summoned by Roman, fall above fellow slavers, and explode on impact. "More casualties." She spoke, stopping dead in her tracks as she began to try and sniff out the targets, the true targets. Those men and women who were currently kept as slaves. It was sickening. 

"The way human beings turn on each other sickens me." She spoke, shaking her head, trying to get rid of the gut wrenching feeling in her stomach. "We gave you all too much freedom." Awaiting for it to happen, she could see something being tossed out her. "And explosive." As it touched the ground beneath her, she felt a shock wave corress her body. Every second she could feel the intensity of her cells tingle, a smile grew on her face as she was briefly taken back a few feet. 

Smoke and debris filled the air, the sounds of foot steps coming closer could be heard as Nemesis began to catch her breath. She could hear the sounds of blades being unsheathed and of knives being flung in the air. She was surrounded. "Only a few known people could beat me, and i have yet to meet any of them." Raising her hands in the air, she prepaired for battle, "Lets see if any of you are the first." A deep breath could be heard exhaling from her lungs, traveling out her lips. As the debris cleared up, she cracked her fist, and charged towards the first of many that she could see.

Wave watched as Roman dealt with the slavers coming out of the cave from the inside of the ball. He sat there and watched on as Roman absorbed the men into another one of the balls, this didn't bother Wave however he was on a limit as each ball could only hold a certain number of things and 3 of 8 of them were already filled up. "Roman try not to get killed, I have only just begun your training. I would hate for you to die this soon into our quest and besides our mission has only just begun." As Roman walked inside the cave Wave looked at all that was inside and it was amazing. The cave was filled with wall to wall cages stacking up to 3 high.

Wave quickly emerged from the ball and when he did so they all began to follow him again. He looked to Roman and said "How in the hell do we plan to get what looks like 100 slaves out of here? Its not like we came up here in a vehicle or anything and I don't think Suzaku could teleport this many people at once. So what shall we do emperor?" Wave said with a strange look on his face. A look that showed he was wondering about the emperors next move. Wave himself then began to think of a plan, it may have sounded cruel but nine times out of 10 this was the best thing to do. Wave looked at all the cages of prisoners and just said "Lets release them all and go home. No point in us trying to get them back to Albastion when half of them are from Freelands and other empires."

Wave held his hands up in the air and motioned them downwards and using magic he made all the cages open up and everyone was freed. However this wasn't the end of it all. When the slaves were released a huge magical boulder dropped down, and blocked the exit of the cave. "Fuck..." Wave muttered to himself. Wave then sat there looking at the boulder as he knew its magic would be far to strong to break it even for the likes of him.

Roman stared at the large boulder that was currently blocking the entrance/exit. It must have been a trap to ensure that the slaves won't escape from the cave. This might pose a problem since they now need to find a new way to escape. Although, depending on the nature of the boulder, it'll only block physical attempts to escape. Making a new exit to escape through may be the only way. However, Suzaku's ability may be more useful. It'll take some time, but Sir Wave's Path may allow all of them to escape. Though, a few people at a time.

"We can still use Suzaku's ability. He doesn't need to transport all of them at the same time. That'll put too much strain on him. He just needs to transport a few at a time.", the young emperor stated to justify his suggestion. "I'm sure he can do it with a few breaks in between.", he added. "Though, it won't affect the boulder unless it counter Suzaku's ability somehow.", he commented. "Can you have Suzaku teleport in and out of the cave to see if the boulder affects his ability, Sir Wave?", he asked the young god.

"Assuming that the boulder does hinder Suzaku's ability, I suggest we make the another exit. The boulder is magical in nature, but the walls are not. If we are careful, we may be able to tunnel our way out of this cave.", Roman stated. "And should we need to make a new exit, we should do so near the original entrance. It'll be quicker to reach the outside world.", the young emperor added. Though he paused as he thought about something.

"No, we may not need to do so.", Roman muttered. "The boulder was a security measure to keep the slaves in. Either the boulder can be removed or there's another way to enter the cave.", Roman deduced. "Which is useful since we are holding a few slavers captive for information.", the young ruler stated as he motioned toward Sir Wave's orbs. "Please release the slavers so that we may interrogate them.", he asked the young god, "Also, I do not condone the use of threats or torture to obtain the information, Sir Wave. I prefer to be better than the slavers if you don't mind.", he added.

One after one they hit the ground. Panting coming from the bodies of those who survived, and the sound of blood gushing out of the bodies of those who did not meet the same fate. A few of the slavers casually looked up, watching as Nemesis continued to strike them down. "A goddess..." She could hear one of them speak. "None sense, she is just a chil-" Nemesis did not even allow the man to complete such an accusation. She was anything but a child. "Just because i look like a child doesn't mean I think and act like one," She spoke, a smile on her face as she lifted her foot up from the bloody puddle which used to be a head.

"Now," She spoke, the last of the slavers around her hitting the ground with a thud. The wind began to pick up, and her eyes began to fill with malicious intent. "Anyone care to share where the slaves are hidden?" She asked, arms crossing before her. Roman was with Wave, and both of them were a few meters back. Neither of them would be able to here this conversation, meaning that Roman would be unable to question her authority yet again.

The men laid there. Only about a hand full of them were left alive, and about half of that were left conscious. "Well?" She asked, lifting up her heeled foot, and slamming the sharp, pointed heel into the back of one of the conscious men. Piecing through his skin, the man winced in pain. "Anyone?" She asked, "What about you kind sir?" She asked the man currently bleeding beneath her foot. Applying more pressure, the men let out a might roar. "Fuck off bitch!" Nemesis's head merely shoot as she lifted up her foot, and slammed it into his head. "That was a no, i take it." She let out a sigh, and walked up to another man. "So, do you have anything you wish to share?" She asked, one hand on her hip and the other reaching over, coressing the mans face. "You look like you might know."

Wave looked at Roman as he sat on the ground and sighed. He knew Roman's plan wouldn't work as he looked at the walls and saw what they were composed of. "This is magi rock. It doesn't cant be destroyed through magical means and its strong and malleable so physical attack wont work either. Meaning we can't dig out either, so unless someone outside finds the release trigger we are stuck in here." Wave then went over to a table the traders had set up in the cave, where he assumed they played cards and planned things, and made deals for the slaves.

As Wave sat at the table he noticed a paper that was on it. The paper was a blueprint for the cave and it showed the cave in detail. Wave noticed that the cave had mutiple levels and that it even had another entrance at the base of the mountain. "Quick Roman come have a look at this." Once Roman would come over Wave would point to the paper where the other exit was. "You were right there is another exit, however we must go down a few levels and we must take the people with us. So I hope you are ready for a trip. Wave rolled the paper up and put it in his back pocket as he began to lead the slaves down into the cave. Wave knew that the blueprints didn't include an traps on it however he was very cautious just in case.

Wave then got down one level into the cave, according to the blueprints this is where the camp scientist worked from as he conducted experiments on different things and such. There were many person sized tubes that contained a water based cooling liquid of some sort and many living different things. However a majority of the tubes contained larges variants of the parasites that lived inside the head slaver. Wave looked at them with disgust but he did not wince or make any facial expressions really. However one of the tubes caught hs eye as he saw a white being, that appeared as though he was half man and half plant. "Hey Roman look at this one." said Wave as he tapped on the glasses with all the slaves about 12 feet behind him.

Roman nodded as he listened to Roman's response to his first suggestion. He was never that educated beyond politics. He was not aware that the walls of the cave were made up of "magi rocks", though he learned something new at the moment. He'll have to learn how to discern the material. Roman attempted to think of another way out, though it was not needed as Sir Wave found the blueprints of the cave. It makes sense when there is a security measure in place.

The young emperor followed the young god as he lead everyone through the cave and towards the exit. As the large group descend to the next level, Emperor Roman saw what appears to be a laboratory. There were several machinery and tubes that would be considered a science fiction setting. Within the large tubes the young emperor realized that most of them contain the same parasites that were living off of the head slaver. Roman felt uneasy and made him sick to his stomach. The young emperor wanted to hurry towards the exit, but Sir Wave has another idea.

Hearing Sir Wave's beckoning, Roman turn to see what had caught the young god's attention. What he saw was something that disturbed him. Walking up next to the gray god, Emperor Roman stared at the being within the test tube. He wasn't sure what it was. The being appears to be a creature of a man and a plant. Was it a man becoming a plant or a plant becoming a man? It was quite disturbing.

"Sir Wave, I do not believe now is an appropriate time to observe these criminals' creations.", Roman said to Sir Wave. "The evacuation of everyone should be our first priority. Everything else should be secondary.", the young emperor added. Roman continue to stare at the white creature within the tube. "I'm not sure what I'm even looking at. To be honest, the being within the tube makes me uncomfortable. These criminals are obviously conducting illegal experimentations within the Free Lands. As well as taking advantage of the lack of political control over it as a way to avoid criminal charges.", Roman continued until he had a strange thought that Sir Wave may be interested in taking the being with them.

"Sir Wave...? Why exactly did you gain interest in the being?", he asked the young god.

It didn't take long to make the pigs squeal. A smile wrapped around her face as she wrung the neck of the man who spoke. "Thank you," She spoke, whipping hair from her face as she began to walk North, the direction the man had given her. None of the slavers remained alive, it was after killing all but one that the last one decided to speak. Either way, he would have died. But this way, he got her blessing. Then again, her blessing didn't mean much anymore ever sense she was kicked from her throne in Aether. The smile on her face began to fade as she was reminded of that fact. The fact that she was kicked from her home. 

She quickly shook these thoughts off, and arrived at the entry point. A large boulder. There was a way to enter it, the slave trader has said. Lifting her hand, she began to feel around for a lever, a button, something. Then she found it. A seal grew round the rock beneath her hand, and the boulder flew to the side. A smile grew on her face once more as she took a few steps in. Nemesis was happy, very happy. 

Looking around, she could see that it was empty. hearing the sounds of foot steps below, she began to walk down the stairs. "Where oh where could the slaves be." As she reached the sounds, she looked in a bit of shock. She was in a lab of some sort, and she could see the slaves hidden behind glass. What was even more shocking to her was what were in front of the case. "Roman, Wave, I see you managed to get here before me." Shaking her head, She walked behind wave and roman. "I'm tiered, you can take care of this, can't you? You're both capable men." She then glanced at Roman, "Well, for the most part." She then let out a chuckle and sat on the ground, ignoring what was going on around her. "I've given up on these people." She then let out a yawn, and awaited for what ever was next to come.

Wave looked to Nemesis who had finally caught up and gave her a look of discontent. "Oh look Roman, Nemesis finally caught up. Some goddess you are shorty. Roman stand back so that I can take this creature with us we will take it back to your castle and have you best scholars help me look at it." Wave would then send one of his truth seeking balls to engulf the large tube so that he could take the specimen with him. Wave knew jewels when he saw them and this was definanttly a diamond in the rough. After grabbing the tube he then looked to Roman and all the slaves and said "Ok people lets keep moving we still got 4 more levels to decend before we reach the mountain's base. Nemesis you can stay and sit on the floor if you want haha."

Wave then began to walk and all the slaves followed him. As he approached the next set of steps he then smelled a very foul smell. The smell was very familar to him, it was the smell of rotting flesh and old blood very old blood. Once Wave got down the steps he saw that the smell was from this level of the cave as it appeared that the slavers used it as a make shift graveyard. Wave knew that the sight and smell of this would greatly upset the slaves do he got them on and off that level as quickly as possible. After going down another floor Wave could hear people talking, no doubt more traders so Wave went to deal with them swiftly while he left the slaves with Roman.

Wave went down to the next level alone to find nobody there, however there were signs that someone was recently there so he stayed alert. That was until something grabbed him from the shadows of the ground beneath him. And it was one of the plant man things that he saw in the lab. Wave swiftly cut its head off thus killing the creature, lucky for him it wasn't parasite infested like the slave trade leader was. After handling the threat he returned to the group and said "Lets keep moving!"

When Nemesis finally arrived, Emperor Roman narrowed his eyes at the sadist near him. He heard the snide comment that Lady Aurora had made and he knew who she was referring to. Is it possible that all gods have an egotistical nature and are condescending to those lesser than them? It really annoyed him to no end, but alas, he must be respectful of others. Even if they don't show respect in return. Emperor Roman made no comment when Sir Wave acknowledged Lady Aurora's presence.

The Emperor then listened to Sir Wave's desires of studying the being within the large tube. Does he believe that the being within the contraption may prove useful in the future? Roman hopes that it wasn't the case. Furthermore, he does not like the idea of having the being within the castle. It was just so unnerving and the lack of knowledge of its purpose does not help at all. However, if the being proves useful, it might be worth the anxiety that the Emperor will have in the future. Letting out a tired sigh, he concede to Sir Wave's suggestion, "Very well, I'll have my best scholars study the being. Hopefully, it'll be fruitful in the future.", the Emperor commented.

When Sir Wave signaled to continue further down, Roman followed the young god. The next level made him sick to his stomach. He was wondering what the slavers did to dispose of any corpses. Sir Wave apparently knew that their current location was bothering the slaves so he quickened the pace by a significant amount.

However, on the next level, Sir Wave have decided to separate from the group to deal with any potential threats. Thus, leaving him with the slaves. One of the slaves decided to speak with the emperor. A young female slave, one who was very thin due to being malnutrition came up to Roman, "E-Excuse me... but are you really an emperor?", she asked Roman.

"Hm? Yes, I am. I'm Emperor Roman Flames of the Albastion Empire. It's a pleasure to meet you.", Roman answered the girl kindly.

"I-It's an honor to meet you, Your Majesty.", she replied as she bowed to Roman.

"No, no, you don't need to bow. I'm an emperor. I'm just not your emperor. You're not obligated to bow.", he stated as he stopped her from bowing before him. He was quite humble and a reasonable ruler.

"O-Oh...", she hesitantly responded, "C-Can I ask you something, Your Majesty?", she asked hesitantly.

"Feel free to ask me anything. We got the time.", he answered.

"M-May... May we come to your empire?", she asked as if she was afraid of his answer.

Roman was surprised by her question, "Well, I don't see why you can't. Everyone is welcome within Albastion. May I ask why? I has assume that you prefer staying within the Free Lands and not be subjected to other governments.", he asked the girl.

"The Free Lands is... too free.", she answered, "Everyone could do anything... I... I don't want to stay here.", she stated as she began to tear up.

Roman placed his hand on the girl's shoulder, "By all means, come to the Albastion Empire. I'll be sure to get you and anyone interested in becoming a citizen of the Albastion Empire.", he stated as he comforted the girl.

"T-Thank you...", she sniffled. The moment was touching and some of the slaves felt relieved that they now have an option of leaving the Free Lands and be safe within a strong nation.

However, the moment didn't last long as Sir Wave returned. He appeared to be in a hurry. Was there a threat? Clearly that must be the case! The young emperor ushered the slaves out of the level to ensure that they can avoid the danger that was coming to the group.

Nemesis ignored the events that transpired after she showed up. It was not a very... interesting sight to see. Letting out a yawn, she ignored the comments of disrespect given to her by Mr. Wave. As wave traveled off, Nemesis began to stand. "A touching reunion," She spoke, another yawn penetrating out from her lips. "But I do believe we should focus more on getting these... poor should out of here before more company arrives."

As those very words left her lips, Wave came back. In a rushed tone, he told them to keep moving as he darted forward. "I suppose company is already on its way." Letting out a sigh, she turned towards Roman. "Lets hope your subjects can keep up," Turning around, She grabbed the hands of two of the slaves. They looked down at her, a bit confused. "Hold on tight," She spoke, giving them a cocky little smile as she then charged forward after slave, practically dragging the slaves behind her as if they were nothing more then sacks of meat. What could possibly be such a threat that a god would act in such a manor? Could it be fear I sense coming off his body?

She merely shrugged off such thoughts, for at the pace they were going, she wouldn't have to worry about what was behind her. Then again, she paid no attention to what was in front of her. She must have gotten distracted, no longer following waves trail. "Oh well, I know the way out. Now, I wonder if my Juror has come up with my ride yet?" She asked, following her own path leading out of the establishment. "Nevermind that, he won't make me wait." The smile stretched across her face quickly faded as she charged out the building. Cool air slamming against her face as she began to slow down, letting go of the freed slaved, looking at the slaves behind her. "Did I possibly run in front of him?" She asked her self, one hand on her hip and the other too her side, ignoring the pants of the freed prisoners.

Wave watched as Nemesis dragged two of the slaves towards the exit as he sighed a bit. He looked at Roman and said "No need in prolonging there freedom I guess." He smiled a bit as he said "Well everybody the exit is right ahead so go and be free. Also anyone wishing to become a citizen of Albastion should follow me and Roman." About half of the slaves took of running towards the exit eager to get back to their homes and their old lives. However Wave knew that something had to be done about the freelands. None of this would have happened if there was some type of rules and enforcement, and so Wave came up with a idea. Wave would subjugate the freelands, not because he saw them as a target but for their own good and well being.

As half of the slaves left another half stayed with Roman and Wave. Wave then looked to Roman and said "Well then these are your new subjects. Treat them well my friend." Wave would say as he went outside and began to escort all the other slave back to their homes in the freelands. It had been quite a journey especially for Wave who had face a lot of adversity, from his opponent Dante. This man or creature or whatever he was, was most certainly powerful and put up a challenge something Wave would never forget. To solidify that he even kept the man's head so that he will always remember him. Wave thought of a use for the man even after his death however he would keep that to himself for the time being.

As Wave walked through the freelands towards the home village of the now free slaves he thought to himself *Soon this all shall be mine...* as he looked at the village off in the distance. After about a half hour walk he made it to their village as he looked at it and then back at them he smiled and said "Well you are all home, I hope you have a wonderful life out here. Imma go on my way now." As he began to walk away he waved to them all and they waved back as to say a final goodbye. Although it wouldnt be the last they saw of Wave, that they did not know...

Emperor Roman waved the young god off as he escorted the former slaves back to their homes in the Free Lands. He is now left with his future subjects to escort himself. He turned and face the slaves as he smiled them kindly. "Come along now. I need to have you all escorted to the empire to start working on the paperworks of your citizenships.", he stated as he lead the group out of the cave.

Once he had exited the cave, he saw that Lady Aurora was waiting in front of the entrance. Perhaps she was waiting for someone? Was it someone from her cult-er, a follower of her's? Most likely, from what the emperor can tell, Lady Aurora is incapable of teleportation or any other form of transportation. Which means that she either travel on her own or rely on someone else to transport her.

He was planning on leaving her behind and never to speak with her again, but he stopped his thoughts as he think about the situation. Lady Aurora is clearly a sociopath, but she truly believes that she is doing everything for the sake of the world. She believes that she was delivering justice, which means that she isn't malevolent in nature. Her methods are... twisted. Maybe he should try recruiting her to join Genesis? No, he has to. Her skills may prove useful in the future and he needs to ensure that he didn't made a mistake in joining Sir Wave in his goals. Even if he had to be affiliated with a sadist.

Walking over to Lady Aurora, he coughed softly to get the sadist's attention. "May I have some of your time, Lady Aurora?", he asked kindly, "I've been thinking for quite some time now and I realized I have made an error of judging you.", he stated. "It is not my place to criticize your methods of delivering justice and I believe that we should be working together for the sake of the innocent.", he continued. "You stated that you wish judge the wicked and deliver justice, correct?", he asked. "If you truly wish to do so, I believe that we can work together and assist you in your goals. I'm sure that Sir Wave has a similar desire. If you wish to discuss further, let's speak in the Albastion Empire. I'll be in the castle like usual and we'll discuss further from there.", he finished as he turned and lead the future citizens to his empire.

Once he has arrived at his empire, his first order of business was to work out where the former slaves may stay and have their citizenships approved. No doubt that the council will have his hide for his sudden departure. He'll have to deal with them for the sake of the freed. Though, he doubt they'll make a fuss. More citizens means more money from taxes for the council members. Everyone always does have a price...

It was a touching reunion, honestly it was. the reunion between the slaves and freedom almost brought tears of joy to Nemesis's face, however, the goddess heart was just as cold as the winds around her. Letting out a sigh, the young girl began to stretch, and sigh. The cold air around her perked up her spirits, now realizing that she could finally take off, and go home. Maybe even bathe.

Aurora watched as the the slaves began to leave, and a trolly pulled up at the base of the mountain. "My ride," She spoke, beginning to walk down the hill. It was then that something caught her off guard, it was Romans voice. And his voice was directed towards her. Looking over, a bit confused, she watched and listened as the man spoke. She thought about what he said, and as a smile whipped round her lips, she began to speak. "I would love to talk with you about your proposition. You seem to know where to find me," Giving him a polite, elegant smile, she gave a graceful bow. "it was nice meeting you, King Roman Flames." Twirling back around, her blonde hair trailed behind her. Paying no mind to what might come before her.

"Juror," She spoke, prancing down the pathway while rubbing her arms. She wasn't truly cold, but the cold winds were still discomforting. "We need to stop and pick me up a new coat. I seemed to have lost that last one." The juror then bowed his head, and opened the door for Nemesis. "Now, off we go," She told the man. "Yes ma'am." The driver then got in his seat, and took off, heading towards any store which nemesis saw fit to purchase a new coat. 'thank you for coming, my juror." the man let out a soft chuckle as she continued on down the road. "As if i had a choice not to, madam." This was true, Nemesis let out a joyous laugh before she replied. "it's a good thing I am in such a pleasent move, Juror. Or i might just take your head for that one next time."
